Bisphenol A (BPA) -- Substance Used in Plastic Bottles  (Fri, 02 May 2008 16:34:00 GMT)
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has formed a task force to review current research and new information on Bisphenol A (BPA), a substance used in the production of many plastic food and drink packages. As the FDA continues its risk assessment process, it is not recommending that consumers discontinue using products with BPA; however, the FDA states that concerned consumers should be aware that there are alternatives to polycarbonate baby bottles, including glass baby bottles.
